Ben Fogle travels to the USA to meet Randilyn, a woman on a perpetual walk across the country. What began as a solitary journey with her dog has grown into a multi-wagon caravan, complete with a menagerie of animals she cares for on the move. As Ben uncovers what first set her on this never-ending path, he's confronted with the harsh realities of travelling her way, including the hazardous routes she takes to reach each new destination. After an encounter with the law, he wakes to find himself camped outside a gas station, questioning more than ever the risks his host is willing to take. Ben discovers a deeper, wilder side to his nomadic host and begins to understand the life she's chosen.
